Objectives:
It aims to achieve several objectives such as
  • To Discuss the physical, emotional, and behavioral effects of chronic stress on work performance and overall well-being.
  • To Guide participants through practicing some stress-reduction techniques during the online session.
  • To Encourage participants to identify areas where stress management can positively impact their work performance and well-being.
  • To Introduce a variety of stress-management strategies, including relaxation techniques (deep breathing, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation), time management skills, and healthy lifestyle habits.

The resource person for the session was Dr. Pradeep T.V., Associate Professor of General Medicine at JJMMC, Davanagere.

  • To Increase understanding of the importance of heart health and the leading risk factors for heart disease.
  • To Educate participants on recognizing signs and symptoms of potential heart problems.
  • To Encourage participants to get regular checkups with their doctor and monitor blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar.
  • To Provide practical tips for incorporating healthy habits into daily routines, such as cooking healthy meals or scheduling physical activity.
