November 1st reminds us of the unity, diversity, and cultural brilliance of Karnataka. It is a day to remember the contributions of great leaders, writers, artists, and visionaries who shaped the identity of our state and preserved the values of Kannadathana. Through this celebration, we express our love for our mother tongue and reaffirm our responsibility to protect and promote Kannada culture.

Jain Institute of Technology, Davangere proudly celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava – Kannada Habba on 21st November 2025 with great cultural spirit and devotion towards our land, language, and heritage. The campus was filled with vibrant hues of red and yellow as students and faculty came together to honour Kannada Nadu and uphold the richness of our culture.
The celebration was graced by distinguished dignitaries –Sri K. G. Yellappa, State President, who inaugurated the event and emphasized the importance of preserving Kannada language and promoting cultural values among youth.Sri Pruthvi Shamnur, Kannada Actor, added special charm to the occasion with his inspiring presence and interaction with students, encouraging them to embrace Kannada with pride.
The program began with the hoisting of the Kannada flag, followed by Naada Geethe and a procession reflecting Karnataka's heritage. Traditional folk performances, Dollu Kunitha, classical dance, Sugama Sangeetha, and drama showcasing the glory of Karnataka captivated the audience. Students enthusiastically participated in cultural events, showcasing their artistic talents and love for Kannada.
The management, principal, staff, and students worked collectively to make the event a memorable and meaningful celebration of our identity. The campus echoed with unity and cultural pride, marking Kannada Habba 2025 as one of the most spirited events of the year.
