With a focus on leveraging technology and effectively communicating their qualifications, students gained valuable insights into navigating virtual interviews with confidence and professionalism.

    • To Inculcate proper virtual interview etiquette, like maintaining eye contact with the camera and avoiding multitasking.
    • To Emphasize the importance of greetings, introductions, and using professional language throughout the interview.
    • To Offer tips on non-verbal communication in a virtual setting, such as posture, body language, and facial expressions.
    • To Ensure participants understand the importance of a strong internet connection and reliable technology at the time of virtual interview process.

The significance of keeping eye contact and interaction with the interviewer, handling technological difficulties, and establishing a professional virtual environment were all taught to the students.

    As they prepared for virtual interviews, students received guidance by the resource person Mr. Faraz Abdulla on topics like doing background research on the business, rehearsing standard interview questions. The focus was on using technology to their advantage, which included getting familiar with the virtual platform and pre-testing audio and video equipment.

    The majority of the training was devoted to developing communication techniques unique to online interviews. Despite the lack of in-person connection, students learnt how to convey confidence and excitement through their body language and tone of voice. Students were given practical activities to assist them improve their communication skills and get over their fear of speaking in front of the camera.

    Technical issues that are necessary for a flawless virtual interview experience were also covered in the session. Students were given advice on how to get the most out of their internet connection, choose suitable background and lighting settings, and solve typical technological problems that can come up during the interview process.

    An engaging question and answer session allowed students to ask questions about specific issues and voice any last-minute concerns they had with virtual interviews before the programme ended. Mock interviews were also held in order to give students practical experience and helpful criticism from facilitators, improving their readiness for actual virtual interviews

    The session helped as a valuable resource in preparing engineering students for success in virtual interviews, empowering them to confidently pursue their career goals in today's dynamic and digital-driven job market.
