Hobby Projects Demonstration

As part of the course Electronic Principles and Circuits (Course Code: BEC303), students of the 2022–26 batch, 3rd Semester (B Section), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) presented their Hobby Projects through a project demonstration activity. The initiative aimed to encourage students to apply the concepts learned in the classroom to creative and practical electronic projects.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Savitra C T, Assistant Professor, Department of E&CE and Course Coordinator. Students enthusiastically demonstrated their projects, reflecting their technical understanding, innovation, and interest in electronics.

Here are a few glimpses from the activity.



All the students of the 2023–27 batch, 3rd Semester (A Section), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) actively participated in a Hobby Project Demonstration as part of the course activity to achieve the Course Outcomes (COs). The activity was conducted under the course Electronic Principles and Circuits (Course Code: BEC303).

The projects were demonstrated by the 3rd Semester ECE students under the guidance of the Course Coordinator, Prof. Savitra C T, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE. The activity encouraged students to showcase their creativity, practical knowledge, and understanding of electronic principles through their hobby-based projects.

Role Play Act

An innovative teaching activity was conducted for the course Embedded Systems (Sub Code: 18EC62) for the 6th Semester students of the 2019–2023 batch under the VTU 2018 CBCS scheme. The activity aimed to help students gain a better understanding of the ARM architecture.

As part of the activity, students performed a Role Play Act, where they represented different components of the ARM architecture by illustrating and explaining their respective roles through drawings and presentations. This interactive learning approach made the session engaging and helped students clearly understand the working of the architecture.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Savitra CT, Assistant Professor, who encouraged students to actively participate and explore the concepts in a creative manner.

MINI PROJECT EXHIBITION

A Mini Project Exhibition was organized on 16 June 2026 as part of the "Introduction to Electrical Engineering" course for the First Year Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML) and Information Science & Engineering (ISE) students. Coordinated by Mrs. Vinutha L. B., Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), the exhibition provided a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, technical knowledge, and practical skills through curriculum-based mini projects.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Ganesh D. B., Principal, Dr. Prakash K. B., Dean Academics, and Dr. Santosh Herur, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Jain Institute of Technology, Davanagere.
